Think I might have identified the problem. Mouse and keyboard become unresponsive again, so I unplugged the mouse from the front USB and plugged it into the back USB port. Hey presto it worked. Can't believe I didn't think of that earlier... Ch...

Still occurring. It just happened during character creation. I don't have those USB adapters. I've put in a ticket to technical support.

Thanks Adrie. I did the first two things you suggested, I'll see how it goes. My motherboard is a Gigabyte but it's a P67.

Thanks but unfortunately it doesn't seem to apply to my system. It's happened to me twice in the last hour, both times I was in a station.

This is an issue with EVE that's only started happening fairly recently. Occasionally I'll notice slight lag with the mouse pointer in game, but almost every day now the pointer will suddenly freeze and my computer totally locks up. Ctrl-alt-del d...
